Abraham ben Menachem, Bloch is mentioned 34 times between 1726 and 1747. His designation in the Stühlingen family tree is 'C2.1.2.1.1.3'. His father was Menachem (Menke) ben Meir II, Bloch.
The descendancy of Abraham from Moses ben Menachem Bloch is uncertain. Abraham first got protection in 1730 [R4575; 06.27.1730], a few years after Moses` death. In 1735 Moses and Abraham were fined jointly 1 fl. 30 Kr. each [R4631; 07.01.1735] . Alternatively, he could be a grandson of Jacob (Jäggle) ben Meir Bloch. Abraham appears to have paid his protection tax 26 times between 1730 and 1743. In 1742 he was being sued by the orphans of one Jacob Bloch in Mühlheim (Baden) for 70 fl. possibly for child support [R1182; 05.29.1742] . In this case, he might have had a son Jacob (not Jacob ben Salomon Bloch). .
